Friday (4/11), Saturday (4/12), & Sunday (4/13)

On April 15, 1934, Shankweiler's Drive-In Theatre lit up the night sky as the second drive-in theater ever constructed. Over the years, we’ve come a long way - from projecting films onto a humble bedsheet to showcasing them on the massive CinemaScope tower you see today. But our mission has always remained the same: bringing the magic of movies under the stars to our community.

As we celebrate 91 consecutive years of operation, we’re putting a playful twist on the occasion. From April 11 to 13, we’re hosting 90s Nights in honor of our 91st anniversary! Indulge in period-appropriate snack bar offerings, including beloved 90s candies and snacks, alongside special treats and decorations that will immerse you in the retro vibes our theater is known for.

Our first feature is the highly anticipated new release, A MINECRAFT MOVIE. To keep things nostalgic, our second feature will be the quintessential 90s classic featuring everyone’s favorite international man of mystery: AUSTIN POWERS: INTERNATIONAL MAN OF MYSTERY!

This event is made possible by the help of our community friends at DE Cressman Insurance Agency Inc and the Alzheimer's Association.

Our Schedule April 11-13:
6:30pm - Gates Open
8:10pm - A Minecraft Movie - PG
10:00pm - Austin Powers – PG13

Showtimes are approximate.
The theater is open rain or shine.
